Everything you need to know to get started in Mitimes

Activating your Account

You must activate your account before you’ll be able to log in to Mitimes

You will receive your invitation to Mitimes via email. Follow the prompts and click the link in the invitation email to activate your Mitimes account and set your password.

Check your junk folder if you’re having trouble locating your invitation email.

Logging into Mitimes

After activating your account, to log into Mitimes, head to the login page and enter your email address, then click Next.

Enter your password, then click Sign In.

If your organisation uses Single Sign On, you will instead be directed to log in via your SSO provider after entering your email

Completing the Tutorial

You will be presented with a quick click-through tutorial the first time you log into Mitimes. Click through the first part of the tutorial to learn how to create a manual time entry.

After completing the first part of the tutorial, click ‘Turn On Activities’ from your Activity Feed.

The tutorial will continue briefly. Click through to learn how to learn how to manage Activities in Mitimes.

Connecting Mitimes to your existing systems

After completing the tutorial, the next step is to connect Mitimes to your existing systems.

To see the status of your connections in Mitimes, navigate to the menu in the top right > My Profile.

From My Profile, you’ll see Tabs with a status for each of your connections.

  • The red cross or blue line indicates that action is required for the connection
  • The green tick indicates that you are connected and no further action is required

Depending on the system, some of your connections may already be set up for you by your Administrator

You’ll also see a notification at the top of your timesheet if one of your connections needs attention e.g.

See the Connections section for setup instructions for each of your systems.

After connecting Mitimes to your existing systems, you’re ready to start creating entries.
